I am a qualified and accredited counsellor with an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Therapy. I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and The Black, African and Asian Therapy Network (BAATN).

In practice, I have supported clients facing a wide range of challenges, including childhood trauma, addiction, anger management difficulties, mental health concerns, anxiety and stress, bereavement, separation and loss, survivor’s guilt, self-esteem and identity struggles, depression, sexuality-related concerns, teenage pregnancy and parenting, cultural and migration-related issues, disability, personality-related difficulties, relationship challenges, and self-injury. This list is not exhaustive.

My clinical placements were at the Cassandra Centre, a therapeutic space based in Croydon supporting adults and young people; and The Deborah Ubee Trust, in Greenwich. At the Deborah Ubee Trust my work involved supporting children. There I drew upon play therapy techniques to enable exploration of the child's world to support their emotional distress and trauma.

I have over 19 years of experience as a Practitioner and Trainer, including working for the Ministry of Justice, where I facilitated therapeutic group sessions based on CBT and DBT. These programs supported men and women within the Criminal Justice System, many of whom were survivors of trauma.

As an experienced Safeguarding Officer and Trainer, I provide guidance and training to practitioners working with children, young people, and adults with care and support needs. My approach is grounded in best practice, ensuring professionals feel confident in recognising and responding to safeguarding concerns with sensitivity and expertise.

For those men who have social service involvement; I am able to offer and facilitate the delivery of the Caring Dads Programme.
